Abuja – The immediate past national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Bamanga Tukur, has been appointed by president Goodluck Jonathan as the chairman of the Nigerian Railway Corporation board, Premium Times reports.
Tukur’s new appointment was announced in a statement by the Special Assistant (Media) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sam Nwaobasi.
Tukur resigned as the national chairman of the PDP last week.
