Erratic Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh, and actor, Yul Edochie, have been named as the sexiest woman and man in Nollywood for the year 2013.
According to a yearly opinion poll carried out by leading Nigerian newspaper, Vanguard, the couple became winners by popular opinion which was sent in via Sms and cut-off coupons from their readers.
Tonto beat Ebube Nwagbo and Colette Orji who came second and third respectively. Following the first three women are Cynthia Agholor on 4th and Stephanie Okereke on 5th.
In the Men’s category, Yul Edochie overcame challenges fromBenson Okonkwo and Uti Nwachukwu who came second and third respectively. Odunlade Adekola and Ali Nuhucompleted the picture at fourth and fifth places respectively.
Tonto Dikeh is popular for her roles in the the movies 'My Life, My Damage', and Doctor May, while Yul Edochie has featured in a number of movies which include 'Immaculate Heart', The Blind', among others.
Past winners of the contest include Jim Iyke and Genevieve Nnaji (2008), Desmond Elliot and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde (2009).
